On Saturday 4 May Scarborough will host the Stage Three finish of the 2019 Tour de Yorkshire and the finale of the 2019 Asda Tour de Yorkshire Women’s Race.

The route, which will be the same for both the men’s and women’s races, will start in Bridlington and take in some of the most stunning Yorkshire coast and North York Moors locations before heading to the now legendary finish on Scarborough’s North Bay. Along the way it will make a return to Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby, two locations that have produced spectacular backdrops in previous editions of the race.

The challenging 132km stage, aptly named The Yorkshire Coast, will have five King of the Mountain climbs: Côte de Silpho, Côte de Hooks House Farm (Robin’s Hood Bay), Côte de Lythe Bank, Côte de Grosmont and Côte de Ugglebarnby. There will also be Sprints at Harwood Dale and Whitby Abbey.
